Avenged Sevenfold performed at the PNC arena to a packed house and rocked out the arena!
Avenged Sevenfold is a heavy metal/rock band from California that formed in 1999. The band has released 8 studio albums and have sold over 8 million records worldwide. The band came to Raleigh NC and performed to a packed arena and some very excited fans. The stage was huge and tall and would allow the band to be seen clearly from any seat except the front row. It was very hard to see them if you were up front because the front of the stage blocked your view. The only time you saw each band member is when they walked up to the edge of the stage. The performance was rock solid. The band had plenty of energy and I saw thousands of synchronized headbangers all moving at once which looked like this sea of long hair flowing over the front of the arena.
The band sounded great, and it was an amazing light show, for many fans that night it is one show they will remember forever. The only thing I hope they do in the future is lower the stage, it is too high and the people who pay premium price for front row tickets should be able to see each band member clearly during their performance.
