Ok, Moody Joody is a band I did not expect at all, and I mean that with all the respect I can give. Have you ever gone to a show and the opening band just blows your mind and you are so glad you saw them? That is exactly how I felt when I saw this band Moody Joody perform at the Motorco Music Hall in support of Grayscale and Smallpools. The groups lead singers Kayla Hall and Katie both bring a harmonic vocal performance to their music, and it really does stop you in your tracks. The music blends perfectly with their vocal performance and having great lyrics that tell a story or an emotion only add to the composition of their sound. It is not every day that a band really does make an impact on me, and this band’s sound was one that I really did enjoy. I recommend anyone to take a listen to their music and the vocally melodic blend of tones that just take you away to a better place. I am now a big fan of this band and look forward to seeing them continue to grow. Moody Joody is a must for any music lover to check out!
